The BWAP608 wireless access point is used for offering a wireless interface, removing the need for a cabled network. The BWAP608 is compliant with IEEE 802.11g and so supports data rate up to 54Mbps.

This access point has one LAN port and one removable antenna (with a reverse SMA connector). This access point supports DHCP server and client, making it easy to install and setup. The wireless security mechanism is provided over 64/128-bit WEP, WPA (TKIP with IEEE 802.1x), WPA2 and AES. BWAP608 is also backward compatible with IEEE 802.11b wireless devices.
