Deliberant 5Ghz 18dBm MIMO Bridge

The APC-5M-18 delivers the highest performance and stability available in the 5 GHz CPE class. This product combines a robust IP-66 compliant enclosure with a highly advanced 802.11n radio core containing MIMO 2x2 technology along with an integrated high-gain dual polarization directional antenna. The device is powered by a reliable, advanced, and feature-rich operating system, allowing the creation of very high throughput and stable wireless networks quickly, safely, and effectively. In addition, the APC-5M-18 supports access point operating mode which extends application scenarios and makes the APC-5M-18 suited for both point to point and point to multipoint networks.

The robust software engine allows the APC-5M-18 to work as bridge or as a router, provides a user-friendly Adobe Flex - based GUI with instant changes, includes useful installation tools (Site survey, Antenna alignment, Delayed reboot), and also is compatible with Wireless Network Management System for one of the most advanced management tools on the market.

In addition to being extremely fast and functional, the new Deliberant OS has all the features required for the WISP community including router and bridge modes, auto modulation, smart auto-channel, internal UAM (captive portal), WDS (compatible with 3rd party equipment), VLAN’s, virtual AP’s, traffic shaping, tools such as antenna alignment, site survey and many more.

Integrated spectrum analyzer

All Deliberant APC series devices have an integrated spectrum analyzer. It is a real-time spectrum scanning tool, which provides a graphical signal representation and displays maximum, average, and current signal (noise) levels. This makes the installation of devices very easy and allows spectrum pre-scanning to avoid interference problems.

IP standards compliance

Deliberant APC series equipment are tested against harsh weather conditions to perform well in extreme temperature conditions. Each of the products has an IP standards based rating.

Wall and pole mounting options

Wall and pole mouting options are available for each of the APC series products and there is no need to buy any additional hardware to be able to mount the unit on the wall.

Small size and light packaging

All the products are very light and small in size to ensure low shipping costs for the end-users.

WNMS - Wireless Network Management System

WNMS is a FREE enterprise grade Wireless Network Management System. Single software solution simplifies a large number of management and monitoring tasks for network administrator. Comprehensive network management software supports up to several thousand of nodes. Multiple networks may be maintained and monitored using one server. Rich feature set helps to diagnose network problems effectively, visualize network on map, perform automatically scheduled firmware upgrades, track states of devices, get alerts about failures, collect statistics and many other things. Web-based system environment supports multi-user accounts. Several administrators may manage different networks on the same server, without having access to each other's equipment.

"Just thought I would let you know.
Gear arrived as promised, installed it as a lash up in the driving snow. It came on instantly as AP - Station and gave me 40Mb instantly, and has not dropped out once since and its had a real caning with about 1 months worth of back ups as well as the normal heavy traffic we have. With a 300 Mb router connected to station end I am getting better performance than sat in the room with the Virgin Super hub!
When it warms up Ill intall it all properly and I thnk Ill get it even better with a little optimisation. Ill also be back for another one to link my mum and dads house (4 km nearly line of site - can only get 3G internet at the moment).

We linked a building that was out of reach of broadband with another building 4km away (across a river/lake) and it has worked flawlessly for 6 months now. Relatively low latency and good throughput. The bracket and plastic it bolts too seems a bit flimsy but has performed just fine, just had an issue fitting it to a 35mm pole as the threads on the bracket didn't allow it to tighten down to that size.

Installation time would have been less but for having to run the cables in roof spaces that were difficult to access. Our connection speeds are now running in excess of 35Mbps even though we are nearly a mile from the BT fibre cabinet!
