GeoDesy GigaNext Laser Link 1000Mbps 20 - 400 Meters
GeoDesy GigaPico Laser Link 1Gbps up to 400 meters
Giga Next is one of GeoDesy’s NextTM series compact Free Space Optical (FSO) wireless communication systems. It provides reliable and secure point-to-point wire speed Giga Ethernet connectivity up to 400 meters. Due to the light weight and size NextTM products are ideal both for indoor or outdoor application. All NextTM series products feature Power over Ethernet
(PoE) interface with advanced Anypower technology, which allows operation both from standard PoE or HighPoE power sources.
Next systems integrate an enhanced device management platform and the possibility of remote monitoring of the equipment through a standard web browser or SNMP manager. Because they use infrared light as a transmission medium, GeoDesy FSO systems do not require frequency licenses. The transmission is not effected by electro-magnetic interference. Due to the concentrated laser beam the NextTM products provide superb security, which fulfils the highest requirements.
Geodesy-FSO offers the most comprehensive range of Gigabit Ethernet products on the FSO market from off-the-shelf compact systems to flexible modular devices for long-haul connectivity.
What is FSO? Free-Space Optics (also known as “FSO”, “Wireless Optics” or “Optical Wireless”) is an optical data, voice and video transmission system. Like fiber optic cable, wireless optics communication systems use laser light to transmit a digital signal between two transceivers. However, unlike fiber, the laser like is transtmited through the air (free-space) instead of through a glass strand. In order for the digital signal to be transmitted and received, there must be clear line of site between each wireless optics unit. In other words, there should be no obstructions such as trees or buildings between the transceiver units.

"Took me ages to align them but it was my first time! the link has been running for a few months now which is why i wanted to leave a review as i took a recommendation from the guys at Wifigear they were great. I was going to buy a crapy bit of kit but am glad that i was recommended the laser link! Cheers"
James Banner (Coventry)
"Good price for a 1Gbps link, easy to install once you have aligned them. Took about 1 hr to align and then we were all up and running. Copper interface as well makes thing easy. Glad that i tried these."
Victor Sandam (Oldbury)
"We have four links running for our CCTV and they have given us conectivity and bandwidth where we didnt think that we could get it. Fairly easy to install once aligned."
Adrian Lever (Brighton)
